Harold Cox Nature Garden Trail

The entrance to the nature garden trail is located along Robert E. Lee Boulevard at 33°48'17.41"N 84°9'32.85"W, 0.7 miles (1.1 kilometers) from Confederate Hall. This span of the road is one-way. There is a parking lot across the road from the entrance.

The trail can also be reached via a 0.4-mile (0.6-kilometer) connecting trail that begins near the railroad bridge just south of the Confederate Hall parking lot, or the 0.4-mile (0.6-kilometer) connecting trail 6 that starts near the base of the walk-up trail.

The entrance to the Harold Cox Nature Garden Trail is located along Robert E. Lee Boulevard on the southwest side of the mountain. It is 0.7 miles (1.1 kilometers) from Confederate Hall. This span of the boulevard is one-way. There is a parking lot across the road from the entrance.

The trail can also be reached via a 0.4-mile (0.6-kilometer) connecting trail that begins near the railroad bridge just south of the Confederate Hall parking lot, near the walk-up trail. There is also a very short connecting trail that connects the Nature Garden Trail to the Cherokee Trail.

The trail is 7/10 miles (1.1 kilometers) in length. It is mostly level.

Note there is also a Nature Garden on the north side of the mountain. It is called the Atlanta Branch of the National Association of American Pen Women Nature Garden.
