The Yellow Daisy Festival is a celebration of the Confederate Yellow Daisies that transform Stone Mountain in late summer and early fall. The four-day festival takes place in early September at and around the Special Events Meadow.
The festival has grown to be Stone Mountain's largest festival and the largest arts and crafts show in the nation. Artists and craft persons from a wide area converge on Stone Mountain to share their passions and connect with others. There is also live entertainment, activities for children, and craft demonstrations to enjoy. A flower show is held at Memorial Hall.
Parking is at the large Yellow Daisy lot adjacent to the festival area. It's easy to exit the park from there via the North Gate. But you must arrive early to find a parking place.
