Stone Mountain has two primary gates: the East Gate or Main Gate and the West Gate. In addition, the North Gate is used for vehicle exit only and provides convenient access to Highway 78. See driving directions.

There is also a pedestrian gate near the Confederate Hall parking lot and another on Stonewall Jackson Drive at Mincey Road near the Evergreen Hotel. Pedestrian entry is not allowed at the East Gate or North Gate, but you can walk or bicycle in and out at the West Gate.

Gates are open every day from 5:00 AM to midnight. Vehicle entry is $20 per day or $40 for an annual pass which must be permanently installed on your windshield for re-entry. Pedestrian and bicycle entry is free.
