Muscogee Trail is Stone Mountain's newest and most secluded hiking trail and is also known as "The Trail Between The Lakes".

The trailhead is located on Jefferson Davis Drive just south of the east gate.

The trail is about 1.5 miles (2.4 kilometers) long. There is a shortcut that can be used to bypass the western portion of the trail, making the length about 1 mile (1.6 kilometers). See the trail map for details.

The trail uses light blue blazes and is popular for walking dogs. It is one of the park's most isolated and quiet trails.

There are also several fishing areas near the trail.
